Brooklyn is where I live and thrive. A product of the Midwest and transplant to NYC 15 years ago to pursue the arts. Almost 10 years of beating the streets of Brooklyn my life, my family and my art have begun to transform themselves.
Traditionally trained in sculpture, but over time have gravitated more towards painting and 2-d assemblage. My conscience and awareness are always letting me see things that others do not. Found objects from the streets to the beaches speak to me with clarity to reconstitute
them back into living objects. A combination of materials melding together being reborn, in the form of colorful abstract visions. Many of the Ideas are in fact visions from places deep in my mind and spirit world. Haiti remains my energy source of visions from past spirit parallels. My art is about capturing the minds eye and making people look twice and say wow! Whats that?
My ArT IS FROM THE STREET AND THE MIND WITHIN ME THAT SEES WHAT OTHERS SEE BUT DONT RECOGNIZE.
